We use natural henna and skin-safe color dyes; these are generally gentle. If you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions, we recommend a patch test 24–48 hours before application. We never use PPD-containing 'black henna.'
Clean, dry, oil-free skin gives best results. Gently exfoliate and avoid applying lotions, oils, or perfumes before your appointment. If hair is present, shave or trim the area for a smoother application. Arrive relaxed and wear comfortable clothing that exposes the area.
Yes. We offer both regular (traditional brown-red) henna and colored options using safe dyes. Color adds vibrancy but may require different aftercare. Your artist will recommend the best choice based on skin, desired look, and longevity.
Application time varies by size and detail: small designs typically take 15–25 minutes, medium 30–45 minutes, and large pieces up to 60 minutes or more. Drying and setting can add additional time; allow 30–60 minutes before leaving for best stain.
Henna naturally fades as skin exfoliates, but to speed fading gently exfoliate, use oil treatments, salt scrubs, or a loofah. Strong chemical removers or bleaching can damage skin and are not recommended. Expect gradual lightening over several days.
