Get answers to common questions about Chin.

Most clients enjoy smooth chin skin for about 2–6 weeks depending on hair growth rate, hormones, and skin type. We recommend scheduling maintenance every 4–6 weeks to keep the area tidy and prevent noticeable regrowth.

No — threading removes hair at the root and does not change follicle thickness or pigment. Regrowth may feel coarser initially, but hair typically retains the same texture and color as before treatment.

Sensitivity varies; many clients report brief discomfort but tolerate threading well. To reduce pain, avoid caffeine beforehand, ensure the hair is long enough, apply a soothing cold compress after, and follow our pre-appointment care tips.

Cleanse the chin and avoid exfoliating 24–48 hours before your visit. Come with hair grown about 1/8 to 1/4 inch so threads can catch easily. Inform your technician of medications or skin sensitivities.

When performed by a trained technician, threading is safe and unlikely to cause scarring. Temporary redness or minor irritation can occur. Share any skin conditions or active acne so we can adjust technique or recommend alternatives.

Most clients book maintenance every 4 weeks to 6 weeks based on personal hair growth. We'll recommend a tailored schedule after your first visit to maintain smoothness and optimize timing for minimal upkeep.
