Get answers to common questions about Eyebrow Threading.
Most sessions take 10–20 minutes, including a brief consultation to map your brow shape. New clients or major reshaping may require up to 30 minutes. Please arrive with makeup removed for the most accurate, efficient result.
You may feel brief stinging as hairs are removed, but threading is rapid and highly precise. Many clients find it less irritating than waxing because there is no heat or sticky residue. Discomfort varies by individual and technician skill.
Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and desired shape. Faster growers may need appointments more frequently, while those maintaining a defined arch can wait longer. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule after your first visit.
Threading can precisely clean lines and enhance existing hair patterns to improve symmetry for sparse or overplucked brows. It won’t regrow hair; for thin areas we may suggest tinting, topical growth treatments, or a microblading consultation for fuller results.
Avoid heavy makeup, sun exposure, saunas, and exfoliation for 24 hours to prevent irritation. Use a cool compress or gentle aloe if redness appears. Keep the area clean and avoid touching to reduce inflammation or ingrown hairs.
Threading is not recommended over irritated, sunburned, or infected skin, active cold sores, or areas treated with strong exfoliants or retinoids without medical clearance. Always inform your technician about medications, recent procedures, or skin conditions before treatment.
